Biography

A New Jersey native, Dani Marco flew the coop to Albuquerque and dove into the art world at The University of New Mexico, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her interests lied in the performing arts, as well as visual arts and art history. While at college, Dani performed flamenco and African dance in Albuquerque's Popejoy Hall, and acted in various independent films and productions. Upon her arrival back to the east coast, she continued studying acting in New York and also became certified in Reflexology. She began working at a performance center as a dance instructor of flamenco for teens and as a jazz, hip-hop, Latin, ballet, and fitness teacher to children. This work also led her to soloist performances for WB 11's "Care for Kids" campaign and a variety of other volunteer performances.

For the next chapter in Dani’s life, she decided to try something different. She went the corporate route and worked in the creative department of the advertising agency, Lowe Worldwide. Advertising was interesting, but definitely did not sooth her passion for performance. She moved back to her first calling and has been happily acting and studying stage and film (and dancing) ever since. Dani’s serious thespian trajectory has been devoted to X hours each week continuing studies at the renowned Esper Studio in NYC. When she breaks off from her busy schedule, Dani is an avid traveler who loves to experience other cultures, and is delighted when she has the chance to roam the world.

Her diversity is demonstrated by a roster of credits including: “Law & Order”, “The Sopranos” and Chris Rock’s most recent movie, “I Think I Love My Wife”. Other film works include the female lead in the feature, "Staten Island”, with Mario Cantone and the short film, “Rhyme Animal”, also in a leading role alongside muMs da Schemer (“Oz”).

Dani has booked principle roles in over 40 national and international commercials, as well as print and voiceover work, and also received an excited review from Richard Roeper who exclaimed, “Dani Marco could be a star!” to Roger Ebert during their show (“Ebert & Roeper”). In 2007 Dani was booked as the Hero in a Lady Footlocker/NIKE national commercial and print campaign and for the year of 2004 – 2005, Dani was elected “Miss Rheingold” and interviewed in Mass Appeal magazine, periodicals, and made a handful of television appearances.

At present Dani can be heard as the voices of Esperanza in the video game “Neverwinter Nights 2” & Lauren in “Blackwell Unbound”. She can be seen in a national Snicker’s commercial spot (2007-2008), national print ads for Pearl Vision (in store), Ultra Swim Shampoo, JASON Cosmetics, and a “Vizio” TV campaign, on the covers of WWE’s Smackdown Magazine & Bergen Health & Life, as a lead swing dancer in the MTV’s popular Fall Out Boy video, “Dance, Dance!”, and as the hero in the Senses Fail video “The Priest and The Matador” (check out: netstudio.tv for that one!).

Dani is having a great time enjoying these intriguing and positive life experiences, and says to keep bringing on the challenging roles --- and much luv for all the support! Peace.
